For a Global Talent (Peer Review) Endorsement application, applicants must work in an approved research discipline. This blog is the first of three which will look at who the endorsement application must be made to and which particular research disciplines are available to the applicant.
The applicant's field will determine which body the application must be made to:
1. British Academy - for humanities and social science
2. Royal Society - for science and medicine
3. Royal Academy of Engineering – (yes you guessed it) for engineering
The British Academy Endorsement
All applicants must work in an approved research discipline. If the Home Office approved list does not have a research discipline which covers the applicant’s specialist field then they will not be able to make the application. However, given the list is quite extensive, it is likely at least one of the approved research disciplines would be applicable:
